GEVONDEN



I still (after a year) receive mails from balloon finders…

Beste Melissa,

wij hebben een van jouw balonnen gevonden in Turnhout.
Jouw vraag was: ‘hoe ziet een ideaal vrij weekend er voor jou uit?’

Mijn vriend en ik wonen sinds drie maanden samen en voor ons is een ideaal weekend:
uitslapen
samen een ontbijtje maken
dit uiteraard gezellig opeten
daarna een heerlijke wandeling maken, een fietstocht, een geocache zoeken,…
verder genieten we enorm van samen koken
en de kers op de taart is gewoon van elkaar genieten.

bij slecht weer kruipen we dicht tegen elkaar aan in de zetel. We zetten een filmpje op en drinken warme chocolademelk of heerlijke kopjes thee.
Dat gevoel wordt het beste beschreven in het liedje ‘avond’ van Bouwdewijn De Groot.

Hopelijk ben je er iets mee! Veel succes! Als je nog iets moet weten, mail je maar.

Mondays after Weekends.


Hi folks.

It’s monday! time flies!
A few blogs ago, I told you about my balloons.
Today I washed them because they didn’t look so good. Very dirty. It took me 4 hours, just to get 250 balloons ready (they are still laying on the floor so they can dry. It was really not the most funny job 😉 You can watch the process here:





Today I also made my presentation for my masterproject. It isn’t finished yet. The print service send me a mail today, my prints wouldn’t be finished because they had some problems with the equipment. I was really dissapointed. I hope, I’ll get them by tomorrow, but they promised me so…

I woke up with a sweet text message from my boyfriend.I Was totally happy to get up 🙂 I got even more happy when I saw this box with my own balloons in it. They arrived! Yes! Now I’ve got 500 balloons, ready to share with you. Comment if you want some 😉 After checking my favourite websites and mail, I went to the supermarket for some food for me and my family. Coming back, I just had to check my vintage store again. Guess what. I found sunglasses (lafont) and bag (francesco Biasia) again, both 1,5 euros. You can pay up to 400 euros for a bag like that! I’m going to call that little shop, my wonderbox I think. HAHA. Everytime I check the sunglasses or bags, I find some really expensive labels, just lying there, waiting for me to buy them! I took some pictures for you to share 😉

SURPRISEPARTY LIES



Yesterday we had a surpriseparty for Lies, one of my best friends. She’s going to Germany to study and have here course. I’ll miss her the next 6 months but we’ll visit her soon so that’s something nice to look out for.

It was almost 4.30 AM when I got to bed so today was very lazy. It feels like my head is going to explode 😉
I worked a little bit for school and enjoyed having visit from a few of my aunts. They have been a real support for us since mum died and they visit us every sunday afternoon. My dad made apple-tart, just like my mum did in the past.

I don’t get responses from my balloons and I’m getting a little nervous now… I’ve send alsmost 200 balloons and I only got 4 answers back 😀 *hm

2 DAYS and SOME HAPPINESS


So hi guys,

The job I was telling you about is nice. I like working there so that’s good new. Can’t wait to go back in the weekend.
It was also one of my best friends birthday wednesday so we went to a restaurant to celebrate ( and to talk about our lifes and fears and desires….) It’s always fun to chat with her. She’s just sweet!

So today I got a call from a newspaper, they liked my project with the balloons and wanted to help me out with the search for helium. It’s too expensive for me to pay so they are going to have an advertisement about it. They send a photographer and stuff. Pretty stressy! But the photographer was nice and it went very well. I hope there will be some good people who read it and help me out ‘cause I really want to proceed this one.

So that’s what’s been going on these 2 days.
The newspaper (het belang van limburg)is going to call me on monday to ask if the ad is good… so that’s nice. I hope it will be printed next week…

I’m stille pretty scared for school and stuff but I’m gonna do my best.

I had 2 nice days compared with all the things that passed by the last few months.
I still miss my mum but today I saw a movie I made of her when she was in hospital and it made me cry and laugh at the same time. I know she would be pride but in her own way. I’m proud of her too…
