Thesis


Hi everyone,

How are you doing? 🙂 I’ve missed my blog. For the past few weeks I’ve been working my ass off just to write a good thesis. But it’s finally coming to an end. I only have to write a few pages and make a good lay-out and I’m finished (finally). I did my best and I think it’s a good writing. Maybe I’ll post a rapidshare link later for all the ones who like to read about the origin of fairy tales and the evolution of the fairy tales illustrations. It was fun to do but also a lot of work. I don’t think I’ll miss it 😉 I really enjoyed the times off: go shopping, groezrock, going out with friends and my visits at Jan’s place. I really need some time off sometimes. It makes me feel alive 😉

So how are you all doin’? I’ve missed hearing from everyone so please tell me what happend in your lifes.

Past week (hectic!)


The two past weeks have been very hectic. Here are some pictures from last week.

I’m making 3 movies for school (my final project about fairy tales). This are some pictures my boyfriend made while making the video! In these pictures you can see my sister (model), myself and Jan (taking these photo’s and helping me out with moving stuff around! ;))


(behind the scenes: Rapunzel) This is a screenshot from Senne, Dorien and me. Dorien’s my model, Senne helped me out for the location and I’m filming ^^ It was pretty difficult to get to this location! we had to climb fences and stuff! 😀


I’ve got my new glasses! (and I buyed the gold camera from canon!!!!! (look at my older posts, i adored it!)


I received some new letters from around the country. This one is a prior-letter from France. The lady who found my balloon didn’t understand my message, she was french. ^^ I’ve send about 450 balloons, only got +- 7 back… *dissapointed


I love making small meals. It makes me feel calm.

Sundaynight I’m leaving for New York. We’re going to visit the city and some design stuff (muccadesign). I’m excited.
I’ll be back Monday (16th March).

Class Reunion


So Yesterday we had this class Reunion thing. It was nice talking to everyone,however we were only with 6 people and we had about 20 people in our original class. But is was fun chatting and hanging out in this bar we also went to 4 years ago.

When I was back home I felt the need to think about my final project. I’m writing a scenario for this trilogy about fairy tales. I choose Snowwhite, Rapunzel and Hansel & Gretel. I want to do this grown-up version but still with fantasy elements, only more subtle. I’ll be working with the meaning of fairy tales: growing up. Every movie of my trilogy will be exposing a part from this ‘growing up’ theme. I hope it will turn out tremendous. When I finish my script, I’ll be posting it here.

for the essay,that goes with it, I search examples from graphic designers who worked with my fairy tales so if you know one… It would be a great help! (Thanks!)

Today I kept working on this script thing and in a few seconds I’m going to watch Privileged (yeah again, I’m all ready watching the 9th episode -muahaha).

So that’s it. Christmas is on it’s way and I hope you’ll all have nice dinners and stuff. *haha.
It will be so dual this year, with losing my mum and stuff. But I’m sure I will be enjoying it, even though I’ll be missing her.
