It’s friday evening and I’m thinking about my vintage webshop. I still have a long road ahead and these things need some time but I just can’t wait to show everyone my clothes and I decided just to start buying some items, make them more ‘me’ and sell them again. I’ll be informing you at this blog (with new items and pictures) and I will sell them on kapaza/etsy too.

It would make it easier for me to know how many people actually will buy my dresses and stuff.

Fashion Tuesday: Let your dreams out.




I have 2 outfits for you today. Yasmin, one of my best friends, came over this weekend and we did some test shooting for her school project. She has to make a fashion magazine and asked me if we could make some vintage-fashion photos. I’m wearing some of my new things I bought. So here is the impression of my weekend. It was fun to think about my vintage clothing but also it was weird not to be the photographer but the model… Hmm. 😉

Monday Movie Time : The vicious kind



Friday evening I watched “the vicious kind” with Jan.
I love almost every move from the sundance film festival so I was totally ready for this one 😉

I like the movie but because I hate open endings, this movie wasn’t really the best one for me 😉

The movie is about a young girl who spends her Thanksgiving holiday at her new boyfriend’s home and meets his family. The relationship between the two brothers, a father trying to connect with his sons and the young woman who gets between the three of them. The story begins when Caleb Sinclaire reluctantly picks up his brother Peter at college and brings him and his new girlfriend Emma home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Caleb, who recently broke up with his long-time girlfriend and is wary of relationships, warns Peter that Emma will end up hurting him, but he can’t stop himself from being drawn to her. As Caleb’s infatuation with Emma grows, he must decide whether to act on his feelings or protect his brother’s first love.

It’s not a typical movie and it really gives you this indie feeling and that’s really what I like about movies. The movie is not really a big story though. I would give the movie a 7 out of 10.

Shopping Time :) (can you see me smiling?)


Sorry for not posting a second fashion post on tuesday! It’s only week 2 and I’m already giving up! Shame on me! I know… but I had to work all day and Jan took some pictures of me in the evening (and really they looked like shit!) so I gave up and didn’t come out of my seat for the rest of the night! I was really a mess, so plse forgive me (we don’t look gorgeous every day, do we?)

The good news is, I went shopping today I here’s my fashion post for the week (with some delay but it’s more fun to see a new fashion post with lots of new goodies, isn’t it?)

I finished working at noon so I had some time to visit some vintage stores and I also went for some shopping in Herentals city.
Bought some vintage stuff and 2 (cute!) new dresses (so expensive for a girl who’s working parttime, but I’m selling almost 1/4 of my clothes on kapaza so I’m allowed 😉 ).

Here are my feel-good-pictures for you (it made me instant happy)! I’ll try to take some portrait pictures with my new clothes in the next couple of days/weeks but for now it’s only the clothes and new things on my beautiful kitchen table 😉

Monday Movie Time: the exploding girl



I can’t wait to see this movie. I like the movie poster a lot and I guess (hope) it reflects the movie.

The movie is about Ivy, a twenty—year—old college student home for Spring Break. She is excited about a developing romance back at school and life is seemingly perfect. When her longtime friend Al finds himself without a place to stay during the break, Ivy and her mother take him in and Al and Ivys friendship strengthens while her boyfriend grows more and more distant. Increasingly distressed about her conflicting feelings, Ivy struggles to keep control, not wanting overwhelming her emotions and trigger her epilepsy. Restrained and meditative, THE EXPLODING GIRL is the exquisite portrait of a young girl coming of age and finding a deeper kind of love in New York City.

I’m curious!
The movie makes me think about Juno, Once and 500 days of summer, I hope it will be something in between.

Will give you my thoughts on this one when I’ve watched it 😉

Two weeks ago I started this pregnancy project with Jeroen & Mieke.
For the next 5 months of her pregnancy I will be taking pictures with them every week. We are at week 17 now.
It’s a lot of fun doing this with two friends. Every week they write me some lines about their week and we try to do something with this at the shoot. This week it was all about finding a name for the girl/boy. I hope you’ll enjoy the series, updates every weekend from now on untill july.

We got the idea from ‘pacingthepanicroom’, a very known blog with all the family lovers 😉 .

Fashion Tuesday : I’m ready for spring…


but is spring ready for me?

So I’ve been reading blogs for months now and I got fascinated every time with fashion blogs so today I decided I’ll be starting some ‘fashion’ inspired posts. I’ll be posting my outfits every tuesday. Don’t know how long I’ll be able to do this, I get bored with things so easily …

Here is my first ‘spring’ outfit for the series. I’m so ready for it! Snow and coldness is killing me! I decided to make a ‘vintage’ look because this will give you an idea off what my webshop will look like 😉

But off course I’m not wearing this outfit today, I made it winter-proof 😉
